We are Barbi and Laci, the teachers behind Hungarize. We are both certified teachers of Hungarian as a foreign language.
We met ages ago at university, during our teaching practice. Laci visited one of Barbi’s classes during our teaching practice where Barbi was using technology actively in the classroom; and from that moment on we knew we have very similar opinions about teaching. 🙂
We have worked together in language schools, held workshops for teachers, founded a website for teachers of Hungarian; Hungarize is our first project together for learners.
We are not only colleagues: we are friends as well. Besides teaching, we both love playing board games and hiking. Sometimes (khm, often) we drive each other crazy, but that’s okay. 🤪
